If my dog could talk, the first thing he’d say is,

“I know you didn’t open our snacks without me.”

It wouldn’t matter if he was upstairs, asleep or under a blanket. The second that bag crinkles, he’s standing beside me like he teleported.

Then comes the stare. Not begging, more like reminding me that we apparently bought these snacks together.
