Finding a company that posts a rainbow logo in June is easy. Finding one that supports LGBTQ+ employees with strong benefits, workplace protections and career opportunities all year takes more work.

For this U.S.-focused list, DIN reviewed the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For in 2026, the latest available Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index, and public information from employers. We looked for clear evidence of LGBTQ+ benefits, employee groups, inclusive policies and positive staff experiences.
This is an editorial ranking. Experiences can still differ by department, manager and location. However, these ten employers appear to be doing more than simply saying the right words.
1. Synchrony
Synchrony leads the list after ranking No. 1 on Fortuneโs overall 2026 workplace ranking. Its Pride+ Network helps connect LGBTQ+ employees with well-being resources, paid family leave, adoption assistance and gender-affirming care. The financial-services company also reported earning a perfect HRC Corporate Equality Index score for eight consecutive years through the 2023โ2024 index.
2. Hilton
Hilton ranked No. 2 on Fortuneโs 2026 list. An LGBTQ+ employee featured with the ranking credited Hiltonโs welcoming culture with helping them gain confidence and advance professionally. Hilton also operates a Pride Team Member Resource Group focused on education, community and allyship. Applicants should confirm whether individual hotel positions are corporate-managed or independently operated.
3. Cisco
Cisco placed third on the Fortune list and maintains a large PRIDE and Allies network. The company has reported more than 2,700 members across 19 chapters and 40 countries. Cisco also added optional pronouns to its employee directory and Webex platform. Its wide range of technology, cybersecurity, sales and customer-experience positions gives applicants several possible career paths.
4. American Express
American Express ranked No. 4 among Fortuneโs best workplaces. Its current careers information identifies diversity, equity and inclusion as core values while highlighting benefits for employeesโ physical, financial and mental well-being. The company also promotes mentorship, professional development and internal career movementโimportant for LGBTQ+ workers who want advancement, not merely acceptance.

5. Wegmans Food Markets
Wegmans offers a notable option for LGBTQ+ people seeking hourly or retail work. The company ranked fifth on Fortuneโs list, allows employees to place pronouns on name tags and maintains a nondiscrimination policy that includes sexual orientation. It also supports LGBTQ+ organizations and local Pride events. Store-level experiences may vary, making questions about local leadership especially important.
6. NVIDIA
NVIDIA publishes some of the clearest information about its LGBTQ+ benefits. Its U.S. plans cover eligible spouses, domestic partners and dependents. Listed services include PrEP, mental-health care, gender-affirming surgery, hormone therapy, speech therapy and eligible travel expenses. NVIDIA also provides family-building resources for LGBTQ+ parents, including adoption and surrogacy support.
7. Marriott International
Marriott ranked No. 7 on Fortuneโs 2026 list and supports an LGBTQ+|ONE Associate Resource Group. Employees have described the network as a source of mentorship, friendship, professional visibility and leadership experience. Since benefits can differ among corporate-managed and franchised properties, applicants should confirm which policies apply to the hotel where they would work.
8. Delta Air Lines
Delta ranked ninth on Fortuneโs list. Its 12 Business Resource Groups have nearly 35,000 members and include EQUAL, the airlineโs LGBTQ+ network. These groups provide networking, development and career-growth opportunities. Delta also lists recognition from HRC among its workplace honors and offers positions across aviation, technology, operations, corporate services and customer care.
9. Progressive
Progressive ranked No. 19 on Fortuneโs list and provides strong evidence of employee participation. Its nine resource groups include the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Plus Network. Progressive says 44% of employees and 80% of managers belong to at least one resource group. Its Chosen Name Program also updates names in workplace systems such as Outlook and Teams.

10. Deloitte
Deloitte rounds out the ranking after placing No. 24 on Fortuneโs list. The firm maintains a global LGBTQ+ inclusion standard, a worldwide LGBTQ+ and allies network, and more than 30 local employee groups. Deloitteโs policies specifically reference sexual orientation and gender identity, and its U.S. business reports receiving a perfect HRC score for 16 consecutive years.
Look Beyond the Ranking
Before accepting any position, request the current benefits guide. Confirm whether it covers domestic partners, family-building services, PrEP and gender-affirming care. Ask whether the local LGBTQ+ employee group is active and if members have access to mentors and senior leaders.
The best LGBTQ+ workplace is not necessarily the company with the largest Pride float. It is the one where employees receive fair benefits, feel respected, grow professionally and can discuss their lives without calculating whether honesty will damage their careers.
